Procrastination

Procrastination is a beautiful thing. Lauren had this fun blog and she tagged me with it, so since I'm looking for ways to spend my time (not productive ways mind you), I'll do it using only images I find with Google search.

My favorite animal

A bad habit of mine

My favorite holiday

One of my favorite places

Where I live

A place I want to visit

My favorite color

My major

My middle name

My favorite food

The age I'll be on my next birthday

Well that was good times all around! You should all do this if you don't have anything better to do... Even if you DO have something better you should be doing, this is still fun!

Ahem...

As per request, I am going to do a mini review on my weekend. Technically, the request was for movie reviews, but I'm going to allow for a bit broader interpretation. After all, it is my blog. This weekend was crazy busy!!! On Friday I had an awesome time at a ward activity up the canyon at a lodge that BYU owns. I played sardines (a game that comes highly recommended to those of all ages. If you don’t know how to play, it’s a glorified version of hide and seek where once you find the person you continue to hide with them until everyone is hiding in one tiny space. Hence, sardines. Feel free to ask me for further instructions if you still feel confused.) I also kicked some butt at Nintendo Wii tennis! Yeah! My arm was sore for a few days, but that’s just one of the minor sacrifices I’m willing to make for victory!

Saturday began bright and early with Pres. Hinckley’s funeral and getting ready for the day. I then went to a film/photo shoot for a student film I’m working on. It was way fun getting to know all of the actors and doing what I love to do so much! I love the 1940s and that’s when it’s set! Yea high glamour! So much fun!!! That evening my cousin and his lovely wife invited me over to their home for a Groundhog’s day party. It was a blast! We had pizza, treats, and I finally got to watch Groundhog’s Day. Yes, it’s true. I was a Groundhog’s Day virgin until Saturday. Now for the review you have all been waiting for… I loved it! I seriously laughed so hard at parts of it! We all had a blast! After the movie I had a super burst of energy! While everyone else was getting really tired, I got my second wind and made everyone watch the sister’s song from White Christmas. Also a very good film if I do say so myself.

Overall I would have to say I give this weekend two thumbs up!

RIP Hair Dryer

My hair dryer just died! Sad day, especially since I now have to go out in the snow and freezing cold with wet hair. I was only a few seconds into the drying process when the hair dryer started to make a strange sound. Then, for no explainable reason, it just stopped! Nothing I can do will make it start again either. I am most distressed and still have wet hair. Life is so unfair sometimes! Really, why would a perfectly good hair dryer just stop one day? It seemed to be such a happy hair dryer, but apparently it had more underlying problems that no one knew about. Anyway, that's my story for the day. Well *dramatic sigh* onward and upward!

On a totally different note, I saw Juno with a friend last night and it was totally amazing! I completely forgot about my stresses (which was the point, thanks Nathan!) and had a great time! Not only was it an entertaining movie, it had a great plot and a nice little moral at the end! Yeah! Good times all around!
